Laytu Lumbar in Ecru and Dark Green
Handwoven in Myanmar (Burma), on a traditional backstrap loom. Backstrap weaving is a time-honoured skill, and one that has been passed down through generations within the Chin community. The motifs in this textile depict the Laytu’s (Chin ethnic tribe) interpretation of natural forms, patterns which have been woven in their communities for centuries. The size of this cushion is 79cm x 40cm, the composition is 100% cotton. The back of the cushion is plain off-white cotton. All cushions come with duck feather inserts.
